Full accommodation information

Open all year long, ready and waiting to show visitors the wonders of its privileged location, Pyramid Lake Resort is a family-friendly lodge in the Canadian Rockies, a mere ten-minute drive from the town of Jasper.

The setting is pretty as a picture: a stone’s throw from the waters of Pyramid Lake itself, which the hotel flaunts direct access to, with the craggy silhouette of the Canadian Rockies always there in the background.

In the summer, you can’t beat outdoor activities like kayaking, paddle-boating or swimming in the lake, while the winter brings its own allure – snowshoeing, ice skating and cross-country skiing, as well as romantic sleigh rides in the snow. There’s wildlife lurking in the national park, best viewed on an exciting hike or horse ride, with the gorgeous Alberta countryside for company as you go.

After such adventures, there’s nothing better than going for a soak in the hot tub, before feasting on a lip-smacking dinner. The Pines Restaurant is the perfect place to do so; with its delectable a menu of Alberta beef steak, pan-seared pickerel and herb gnocchi, among others.

Enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in one of the inviting guestrooms at Pyramid Lake Resort, many of which have full or partial views of the lake itself. They are warmly decorated and include convenient amenities like mini-fridges, and in-room safes, though the best feature has to be the fireplace, keeping you cosy on a cold night. Some rooms also come with microwaves or kitchenettes, balconies or outdoor decking areas.
