I love to venture off-the-beaten-track and embrace new experiences wherever I go

About me

I have worked at Inspiring Travel company since 2015 and have had the opportunity to visit many wonderful places during my time here. However, from an early age I have loved travel and have taken every opportunity to see the world.

My travel specialism

Apart from my exciting journeys through European beach destinations like Greece, Portugal and Spain and the paradise islands around the Caribbean, I’ve enjoyed adventures of back-packing around India, beach-hopping through Thailand and working my way around Australia, to more recent sun holidays with my family and shorter city breaks in Europe, I love to venture off-the-beaten-track and embrace new experiences wherever I go and skiing the back country slopes of Crans Montana was definitely one of the most memorable.

I’ve also recently been on a path of discovery when it comes to Italy, falling in love with the stunning culture and diverse scenery. I’ve been to the pristine shores of Sardinia, Amalfi Coast and Sicily, and uncovered the history-rich cities of Venice and Florence.

My most memorable travel experience

Back-packing through India was my starting point of my love for travel. I was hooked by my adventures, so much so that I would say it was one of my most memorable travel experiences.

One of my other favourite moments was on a trip to Iceland – a real bucket list destination. I’ll never forget walking out of a restaurant at almost midnight and the sun shining, taking an off-road trip over the glacier and just generally being in awe at almost every turn at the amazingly diverse landscapes, waterfalls, glaciers and Geysers. I always thought Iceland was more a of winter destination but being there in the summer changed my mind completely.

My favourite destination: Greece

Greece really does offer something for everyone! I love the cuisine, the weather, stunning hotels, fabulous beaches, culture and history, and the fact that every place you visit is so different and diverse, from traditional villages to luxury resorts. I love creating tailor made multi centre itineraries so our clients can really experience the very best of multiple islands in one trip – they are all so different.

My favourite hotel: LUX* Belle Mare

I loved the LUX Belle Mare in Mauritius. The service is outstanding, rooms are gorgeous and the concept behind the resort was lovely: luxury island life! The staff there really do go out of their way to make every moment memorable. The dining options are excellent, and the beach is stunning. The focus at the resort is about making memories and a giving guests a luxurious, authentic experience.

It really is a resort for any occasion; Honeymooners can find privacy and seclusion, spacious accommodation and fine dining and those travelling with younger ones will find a friendly resort which will delight the whole family.

Service commitment from you:

I always strive to provide a service that I would expect to receive if it was my own holiday. A key part is really listening to clients, getting to know them and understand their requirements, providing inspiration and then fine tuning the smaller details so that I can exceed expectations.

Your top tips for travellers:

Eat! Ask locals for restaurant or bar recommendations for authentic local cuisine and experiences to get a real taste of the country.

See! Go exploring during your stay, a walk, an excursion, or a new activity and create fantastic memories.

Rest! Take time to relax whether it be in the spa, or on the beach or just lazing on your terrace with a book - holiday time is precious.
