Travel is an experience I just can’t get enough of.

About me

I’ve always loved the excitement of travel and seeing new places. From the anticipation of boarding the aircraft to trying new flavours and exploring new cultures, travel is an experience I just can’t get enough of. My career in travel began in 2008 on the travel high street. I then ventured overseas for a short while and returned to luxury travel. I love that I can get to know my clients and share my experiences to inspire their next adventures.

My travel specialism

My specialist destination is the Maldives. I’ve visited 14 different islands and their luxurious hotels, ranging from all-inclusive offerings to bed and breakfast varieties. There are some breathtaking larger islands, smaller islands, family-friendly or adults-only islands and rustic Robinson Crusoe styles as well as polished and pristine islands too.

I've also visited CroatiaSpain, Greece, Turkey, Rome, Amsterdam, Barbados, Jamaica, Grenada, Turks & Caicos, the Seychelles, Mauritius, Dubai, Oman, Bali and Singapore.

My most memorable travel experience

During my trip to Milaidhoo, I loved doing the Finding Nemo tour. Since I’d never snorkelled or gone diving before, I was initially frightened to have something on my face and my head underwater! But once you get into it, it was spectacular seeing all the coral and various marine species. We even had a photographer with us taking pictures – what an unforgettable experience!

My favourite destination: Maldives

With so many beauties and wonders in the world, it’s difficult to select just one! However, my favourite standout long-haul experience must be the Maldives; there’s nothing like it anywhere in the world. From the moment you arrive, you know you’re in paradise with the crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches. It’s the perfect place to relax and switch off. A little closer to home, I remember travelling to Lake Como and was impressed by its utter beauty and sheer elegance. We spent our time exploring the lake and getting stuck into the flavours of the Italian wine and cuisine.

My favourite hotel: Grand Hotel Tremezzo

The iconic Grand Hotel Tremezzo on Lake Como is simply spectacular – like it’s been ripped right out of a movie. As soon as you see it, you know it’s the Grand Hotel Tremezzo. You feel very special on arrival as the service is fantastic, there’s a real charm and a good sense of place. Not only that, but you’ve got a large set of double doors which open out to a breathtaking view of the lake.

At the front of the hotel, there’s a little jetty featuring bean bags where you can sit and watch the boats – which is very relaxing with a cocktail or glass of champagne. When thinking about Grand Hotel Tremezzo, you picture the manicured gardens and the sense of jasmine everywhere. It’s very calming and just a real escape away from chaos. You do really get looked after here; it’s incredible.

We hired a boat out for the day, where you get a map to explore the lake. You can pull up in front of Tremezzo and do your selfie shots and have a few drinks while listening to the lovely music. On top of this, Bellagio is directly opposite, which you can visit to see something different. With all the little streets and a nice Italian gelato, it’s a wonderful day trip you must experience while here.

Service commitment from you:

I care a lot about my clients and like to get to know them along with their whole family; it helps me to tailor-make and personalise your holiday of dreams! Not only that, but I can even sprinkle in all those little wows and surprises, both in resort and at home. My job is to take away the stress and frustration when you’re looking for a holiday, as it shouldn’t be anything but an exciting time.

Your top tips for travellers:

  • Get in sooner rather than later with your flights; direct flights tend to go on sale around 11 months prior, so we get fresh contracts with early booking offers as early as possible.
  • Remember, if it’s a private island, wear comfortable attire and leave those heels at home!
  • When travelling with children, don’t overthink what to take; a lot of islands will have the necessities you need ready and waiting, such as push chairs and bottle warmers.
