Full accommodation information

The Aman hotel boasts one of the most sought-after pieces of real estate in Tokyo, spanning as it does the top six floors of a 38-story skyscraper, overlooking the city’s lively Otemachi Business District.

This means that impressive cityscape views are there to be admired night and day, from either your guestroom or suite, each of the four restaurants and bars, luxe indoor swimming pool, gym or sublime spa area thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the hotel.

That’s what surrounds the Aman Tokyo, though more importantly, inside you will be treated to one of the coolest looking five-star hotels in Tokyo, full of contemporary art pieces, minimalist furnishings and soaring ceilings that create a priceless sense of space for such a city centre hotel.

This same theme continues into the Aman’s accommodation options. Here even the standard rooms offer a huge 764sq ft floorplan – among the largest of their type in the city – plus fantastic views of either Tokyo or the Imperial Palace Gardens, king-size beds, a deep soak bathtub and spa-like decor scheme; the list of in-room extras only getting longer as you move through the room categories.

And speaking of spas, there is a two-floor wellness centre here that can rival any in town with its 30m heated swimming pool overlooking the skyline, steam baths and saunas, yoga and Pilates studios plus a tantalising list of traditional and modern-day therapies infused with organic ingredients, herbs and spices.

All of this, added to one of the most exclusive sushi restaurants in Tokyo, an atmospheric lounge bar and delectable French restaurant set amongst Otemachi Forest, makes the five-star Aman Tokyo an easy choice when planning your personal tour of Japan.

Guestrooms and suites at the Aman Tokyo really are private, personal havens, away from the clamour of this bustling city. Each takes its design cues from the traditional design of a Japanese ryokan, though an entirely modern one at that with their low-slung king-size beds and crisp linens, contemporary furnishings and in-room amenities carefully positioned around a zen-like space. Views vary between the Tokyo City skyline, Imperial Palace Gardens and Mount Fuji, though given the Aman’s elevated position almost all are as impressive as the next thanks to the walls of glass in each room; particularly if booking a corner suite option. With Wi-Fi, twin vanity sinks and a deep soak bathtub, a lounge area and sofas, minibar and sound system then among the standard in-room extras, these spacious and lofty Tokyo hotel rooms soon become quite hard to beat.

Deluxe Room

Deluxe Room

Far more than your average entry-level option, the Aman Tokyo Deluxe Room is, in fact, larger than some hotel suites at 764sq ft. They are big enough for a spacious bathroom, twin vanities, a freestanding tub and walk-in shower, plus either a king-size or twin bed setup and comfortable seating area overlooking the skyline beyond.
Deluxe Palace Garden View Room

Deluxe Palace Garden View Room

The same setup and size as a Deluxe Room, though with impressive views over the Imperial Palace Gardens instead of the city itself.
Premier Room

Premier Room

Boasting a slightly larger floorplan of 861sq ft, a Premier Room at Aman Tokyo gifts you a private foyer, bigger bathroom and comfortable lounge area from which to enjoy views of eastern Tokyo.
Suite

Suite

At 1,517sq ft, nearly double the size of any equivalent guestroom, booking a suite at Aman Tokyo is a real step-up that includes a separate dining and lounge area, fantastic city views and in some, a built-in stone tub overlooking the skyline; big enough for two.
Corner Suite

Corner Suite

A stunning Tokyo Suite option that, although slightly smaller than the standard Suite on paper, does benefit from a corner position in the building and therefore superior views, thanks to wraparound walls of glass; just magical.
Aman Suite

Aman Suite

The Aman Suite offers the best of it all, nearly 1,700sq ft of space, a separate lounge, dining area and bedroom, unforgettable views of the Imperial Palace Gardens and city skyline, a built-in stone soaking tub and even your own mini wine cabinet; perfect if visiting Japan on your honeymoon.

No stay at the Aman Tokyo would be complete without spending an ample amount of time in the hotel’s heavenly onsite spa. This zen-like space is simply a dream for any luxury city centre hotel in Tokyo, covering two beautifully adorned floors to include a 30m indoor swimming pool with skyline views, herbal-infused therapies, steam baths, yoga studios and a modern gym too. The rest of Aman Tokyo’s main highlights are then found in their supremely well-equipped guestrooms and host of fantastic restaurants, though there’s also Wi-Fi throughout, plus concierge and babysitting service if needed.

Arva

Arva

Cutting-edge Italian cookery comes to Tokyo at Aman’s onsite Arva Restaurant, as locally sourced Japanese ingredients fuse with authentic Italian recipes and passion, all of which work just wonderfully. This is state-of-the-art fine dining to be sure, and a refreshingly unique restaurant choice while visiting Tokyo, as refined Italian fare with a twist is not easy to come by elsewhere in the city.

Musashi by Aman

Musashi by Aman

For one of the great sushi experiences while in Tokyo, head straight to Musashi by Aman, where delicate morsels are prepared real-time in the Omakase tradition, or more specifically – trusting the Aman’s expert sushi chef to choose the dishes for you! With paired sake and space for just eight lucky guests, this is truly an exclusive gastronomic experience to be savoured during your stay, if lucky enough to get a seat.

The Lounge by Aman

The Lounge by Aman

The Lounge by Aman is quite simply a super spot to either enjoy a light lunch, gourmet burger or Japanese small plate as well as your pick of premium drinks, cognacs and fine wines in the comfort of sink-in sofas and Tokyo skyline views. There’s a Cuban cigar lounge here too, plus a tearoom serving warming drinks and homemade sweet treats, so something for all tastes.

The Café by Aman

The Café by Aman

The Café by Aman is a café by name only, as the fine French cuisine on offer here is worthy of any top Tokyo restaurant; this is certainly not your average coffee shop – one of Tokyo’s best-kept restaurant secrets for sure. The menu changes with the seasons, though you can be sure of fresh seafood, scallops and mussels matched with fine wines and indulgent desserts alike; the crêpes and homemade ice cream are particularly good. With an in-house pastry chef serving up mouth-watering croissants and cakes each morning, lunchtimes at Café by Aman are then often a lighter affair, and being located in the urban Otemachi Forest, there are few more atmospheric places to enjoy your evening meal than here.

Given the Aman’s fantastic Otemachi location, opposite the Imperial Palace Gardens, all of Tokyo’s main attractions are within easy reach while here, including the nearby Tokyo Station if looking to get around the city or visit Mount Fuji on the bullet train. You are surrounded by various restaurants and trendy bars at Aman, as well as the shopping outlets of Ginza, Shibuya and Shinjuku Districts too. The hotel itself is then keen on traditional culture and can, among other things, arrange private Iaido classes, if looking to brush up on your Japanese swordsmanship while away!
