Set over 840 acres, the grounds that surround the manor house are a destination in themselves. The geometric box patterned Formal Gardens that have been maintained since the 1850s are the perfect place for a leisurely meander in the fresh Irish sun and to get a glimpse of the hard work and dedication that has gone towards maintaining this property for centuries. Meanwhile, guests can also find with wilds of Ireland through the magnificent mature trees and the Maigue, one of Irelands best trout rivers, which are found within the grounds.

Serving premium craft beer and an extensive range of bespoke cocktails created using speciality liquors and infusions hand-crafted using ingredients from the Manor’s own gardens – the perfect accompaniment to light dishes such as artisan cheese and charcuterie boards. The Tack Room is particularly renowned for the whiskey collection which includes over 100 bottles of rare Irish, Scotch, Bourbon, Canadian and Japanese whiskeys.

On the grounds, try your hand at falconry, archery and clay pigeon shooting or take some time for yourself on any of the walking or running trails around the manor. If you want to enjoy splendid views of the grounds from an altogether more luxurious vantage point, then horse & carriage rides around the resort are the best way to experience the enchanting 840 acre site.

Lauded as one of the best courses in the world, the masterfully executed Adare Manor 18-hole championship golf course is located right on the manor’s grounds and is designed to be a challenging and profoundly satisfying experience for golfers of every level. Celebrated golf architect Tom Fazio has taken this already award-winning course and transformed it into a golfing paradise so impressive that it is set to host the 2026 Ryder Cup.

Outside of the manor grounds, guests can enjoy the great Irish countryside through activities such as horseback riding, wild game shooting and traditional gun dog lessons. Situated on the picturesque southwest of Ireland, Adare Manor also provides prime access to Adare Village, where the streets are lined with historic thatched cottages and stone walls, as well as the Wild Atlantic Way, where there are some of Ireland’s more iconic sights and tourist destinations.

Then, after a day outside, guests can return to the manor for relaxing treatments at La Mer or settle in with a film in the cinema that can house up to 28 people.
